The Main characters will be the ortoflorovivaistiche Companies from Italy who will exhibit plants, seeds , equipment and publications for gardening . The purpose of the event is to promote the green culture and the relationship with nature as essentials In the development of an harmonious living .
FRIDAY 8TH AND SATURDAY 9TH On the occasion of the ” Fior di città – Pisa in fiore ” at the Botanical Garden ( Via L. Ghini n . 13 – Pisa ) there will be the following activities : – Guided tours: April 8th, 16:00 ; April 9th 11.00 ; April 10th 11:00 AM ( with a symbolic contribution of 1 Euro per participant ) ; – ” Origami in bloom ” : April 9th at 16.00 . SATURDAY 9TH On the occasion of the SLOW ART DAY the National Museum of San Matteo offers the Antonella Gioli’s conference, lecturer at the University of Pisa : ” The story of an old cross with a dramatic dead Christ , painted on both sides , it’s linked to vicissitudes of a producer of beauty creams and exotic scents . ” The appointment is at 11:00 am at the museum . Pisa and surroundings SUNDAY 10TH Nicosia – ” The camellias of the cloister ” , an event that takes place during the flowering of two ancient camellias that grow in the cloister of the convent. The purpose is to give a visible sign of the decay situation of the convent , the association Nicosia Nostra – organizer of the event – promotes a particular day. On April 10th there will be the exhibition of the camellias , guided tours , picnic in the olive grove of the monastery , videos , snacks and an outdoor concert .
THURSDAY 14TH Villa di Corliano, Rigoli – III Festival Musicale Internazionale, MusikArte; Piano duo – Spanish Serenade . A musical journey that aims to draw attention to the preservation of the monumental , tourist and cultural infrastructures to the government of the territory .
