The event will gather most important Italian operators involved in promoting regional territories in this special niche of tourism significantly impacting on the economy of the area. Numerous foreign operators will be participating to the BTC to select the ideal destinations for their events and meet the exhibitors during personalized appointments during the event. Even Pisa will be present, for the second time. Pisa Convention Bureau will be exhibiting at the area Toscana Promozione stand. “Our business network Pisa Convention Bureau has grown in recent months; currently there are 28 local businesses participating in our project and the number is on the rise. We are making an effort to raise awareness among national and international operators on Pisa as an ideal venue for events up to 1000 participants—states Laura Balbarini president of Pisa Convention Bureau. “We are planning to promote the area in cooperation with the government and major private entities the right to build local governance that encourages the growth of the market for the meetings industry. In the past months we’ve embarked on a constructive dialogue with local authorities and with the Tuscany region (Councillor Sara Nocentini) who calls constantly Pisa Convention Bureau in working tables regional legislation on the tourism business. “Pisa Convention Bureau is also focusing on an emotional impact and visibility during the BTC to increase the curiosity and interest in our destination: for the past edition we had worn precious costumes from the Cerratelli Foundation. This year we’ve chosen a monumental hat created by the decorator Lucia Faralli ,evoking the Square of Miracles.
