Pisa has got its brand new Convention Bureau!
The Bureaus was born with the objective of promoting “conference tourism†nationwide and abroad, and of managing reception of guests choosing Pisa as their destination.
Pisa Convention Bureau has been officially recognized by the Province Adminstration and is fostered by the City administration and the Chamber of Commerce, has been established as a network of enterprises —called Pisa of Miracles — entirely composed of private tourist operators representing the majority of the qualified services in the city.
Featuring an International airport, an important railway hub, a conference hall with a capacity of 1000 seats , and a rich cultural, historical and architectonic heritage has all the qualities of a top conference venue.
Indeed, this has recently been demonstrated in the event of 2014 July meeting of the Italian Meeting Professionals International chapter, representing the main association of international operators of the field. The network is made up of: Asti Incentives & Congressi and Meridiana Events & Education, the conference organizers with highest revenue in the area; the Conference Building of Pisa (Palazzo dei Congressi), the facility with the largest conference capacity in the area, the Hotel Galilei with 153 rooms, second in conference capicity after alazzo dei Congressi, the hotels Repubblica Marinara and San Ranieri which jointly offer 144 rooms and several meeting halls, Paim Turismo with its meeting hall in the original setting in the natural Park of San Rossore and lastly, the Treno Pisa Tour offering toursit transfer services.
Pisa Convention Bureau has already debted in november, during the BTC – Borsa del Turismo Congressuale in Florence, at the stand of the Region Tuscany and Toscana Promozione, with which it had previously began a proficuous colaboration in promoting events.
